A real quick one this week as I’m recovering from the July 4th weekend. And no, it did not involve any delicious red wine. In fact Kevin and I went to San Jose to shoot a wedding so I’m pretty tired. However, you’re going to see some awesome new shiny things coming to the show including, a brand new mic for podcasting among other things.
Let’s get into today’s episode:
A friend of mine once asked me:
“Hey, what you’re single and you like someone, but that someone is just, you know, out of your league”
I said “Girl, shut yo’ mouth!”
Saying someone is out of your league is a reflection of how you really feel about yourself. Don’t put yourself on unequal ground, or else, yes you put people and things out of your reach or “out of your league”.
In this quick vid, I break down that concept so you snap yourself back to a better mind-set.
We all get insecure sometimes and fear puts us in a state of unworthiness. However, if we can recognize that habitual behavior and counter it with a simple shift in thought, we can come right back and begin to think of ourselves as wonderful, deserving people. Just thinking we deserve the best actually does put you in the “I deserve the best” category.
If you like what you’re reading please share this episode on facebook or with a friend. Perhaps they could use a little shift in thoughts too?
Please leave a comment if you ever felt this way or know someone who’s dealing with the same issue and tell me how you’re going to change that.
